Getting to the conference venue involves a three phase process:

Traveling to the Netherlands

Getting from Rotterdam Centraal to Erasmus University
If making the trip to Rotterdam from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport by Train, you will get off at Rotterdam Centraal. The journey from Rotterdam Centraal to Erasmus University can be made via Tram, Subway, Taxi or Uber.

By Tram Service
Two tram services run from Rotterdam Centraal to Erasmus University. One leaves from Line 7 and another leaves from Line 24.
From Line 7: The tram service from Line 7 leaves every 20 minutes and lasts for approximately 25minutes; you can get off at the Erasmus University Tram Station.
From Line 24: The tram service from Line 24 on the other hand leaves every 15 minutes and lasts for approximately 17minutes. However unlike trams from Line 7, they do not pass through the tram station at Erasmus University, instead you should highlight at the tram station closest to Erasmus university which is the ‘Rotterdam, Oude Plantage’ tram station. The Oude Plantage is a 6 minutes (599meters) walking distance to Erasmus University.
By Subway Service
To get to Erasmus University from Rotterdam Centraal using the subway, you would have to walk from Rotterdam Centraal to Rotterdam, Eendrachtsplein. At Rotterdam Eendrachtsplein you can take a subway service from stations B,C or A- they leave every 5 minutes. However, there is no direct subway service to Erasmus University. The closest subway station to Erasmus University is the ‘Rotterdam, Kralingse Zoom’ station. When you highlight at this station you can then walk for about 12minutes (1.1km) to Erasmus University.
By Taxi
The journey from Rotterdam Centraal to Erasmus University is very direct and lasts approximately 8minutes (5.9km). To reserve Taxi services in advance you can check the following services:

Getting to the Conference Venue:
Van Der Goot Building, Erasmus University Rotterdam
If arriving from Rotterdam Central via Taxi or Uber service ask to be taken directly to the 'Van Der Goot' Building also called the 'M' building. However if arriving by Tram (Line 7) you will highlight at the Erasmus University tram stations (circled in red top left of map). Follow the map below to get to the venue of the the conference the 'Van Der Goot' building. If arriving via subway, please see the relevant google map for directions to the university. Once there, ask for directions to the conference venue.
